Hello All,
I am in the process of moving my library from an HDD to an SDD. I know that if I keep the Drive Naming (Letter and Name) the same then it should be transparent to the server as far as the database goes.
My Question: Can I keep the Drive letter the same and change the Drive Name or do both need to be the same?

The volume name is irrelevant in Windows. Only the drive letter is of importance.
Do you mean the actual media files or the Plex data folder?
Only the latter makes currently sense, as the bitrates of even high-end video files are well within the abilities of HDDs.
Thank you! I’m just moving the Media Files and leaving everything else in place.
I was unsure of how the Plex Server Database was built and just wanted to be sure before I commit.
