Mini Player for Plex Web?

Maybe this exists already but I can’t find it. I’d like to see a mini-player of sorts for Plex music. When at my desktop and particularly when working, I like to have background music. So I go to one of my music playlists on Plex web (I’m on Ubuntu 21.10). and play one of my playlists. Great. But while working the Plex web tab can get obscured and when a phone call comes in I have to hunt for the appropriate Plex web tab and hit pause. Or I could use the pause button on my keyboard whatever. But often I want to find my Plex web player.

Is there a chance we can have a popout little player dialog/window that we can say make stay above all other windows? I think Google Play Music used to do this (RIP Google Music - Youtube Music sux). This mini-player can also show stuff like Artist/Song/etc.

You might want to take a look at Plexamp. On a desktop (incl. Linux) you can freely resize the app window which will adjust its layout (from super tiny player over mini-player to full-sized media player/library). Plexamp supports media keys (making it easy to stop/pause playback)…

Thanks. I know of PlexAmp as I use it on my phone to play music in my car. Didn’t know they had a desktop client - and for Linux to boot! Just what the doctor ordered!
