Minimize Playback in the show page

Hi everyone,
I used to click “back” or “return” while playing a movie and the playback screen gets minimized in the movie page. It was helpful to check the cast or info in the page while the movie is playing. It’s no longer the case, once I click back the playback stop and I get directed to the movie page without the playback running. Any help? It’s the same behavior with my Apple TV, fire stick & fire cube.
