A feature I used to use (on my iOS mobile app) everytime I watched a movie or TV show on the older version before this update was the minimize icon and “Go To Movie” feature so that I could shrink the video into the mini-player and browse the plex app while I was watching something.
Please dear god tell me this feature will be reinstated SOON within an upcoming update 
Are you talking about PiP (picture-in-picture)? This should be working for video playback but not so much for Live TV.
In fact, I’m watching an episode of TV right now from my personal media library (NOT Live TV).
If it’s not working for you, be sure to post which version of the iOS app you’re using.
Sorry for the confusion- I am talking about this small but critical feature —> the down arrow that used to be in the top left corner of a movie or tv show I was playing:

Currently using an iPhone 15 Pro Max on iOS version 18.4.1.
Ah, “minimize the video to find something else to watch.”
I never ever used that once with Plex and I hate having to use it on YouTube 
I don’t have any inside info but I’m hopeful that many/most missing features get restored…
That’s exactly correct - I used that feature everytime I used plex and hope it comes back.
