Mismatched account issues with Plex Server

Life got busy and I hadn’t run my server for awhile, so when I went to login I mistakingly logged in using my mac email instead of the gmail address where my lifetime membership is attached. Upon login and inspection I noticed a message that said unclaimed and not secure server so I claimed it. I then realized that my membership is on a different account. I now have the situation where I can see my media libraries on the mac sign in but I don’t have the lifetime pass, but it I go to my gmail address where the pass is attached It keep telling me to download the Plex server??? With no way to attach my media libraries. Any ideas would would be much appreciated…

  • while using your mac email, access your local Plex Web and goto PMS settings
  • sign out
  • sign out from Plex web.
  • sign back into Plex Web with your gmail account
  • claim the server
