Missing artwork for TV shows

I am running PMS on my PC. Recently some shows have not gotten the artwork. The shows are identified correctly and even play the theme music/show episode description but they do not show any episode or season artwork.

This is currently happening for Better Call Saul, Broad City, Masterpiece Mystery, PBS Specials.

I deleted the tvdb cache, I have turned off all virus software and refreshed the entire library in case the banners were being blocked or the cache was not updating. No luck. These particular ones still do not update.

Sounds like your library agents are messed up or your bundles are damaged. Try cleaning the bundles and doing a refresh again. Post your agent setup for TV so we can see how you’re agents are configured.

Thanks.

I cleaned bundles from the web and and refreshed. That did not solve it.

Can you clarify what you want from my set up?

It is happening for movies too. Just added Big Hero 6. It pulls in the synopsis and matched but no poster.

When I go into some shows that already had posters and then go to some seasons, the episodes just stop having background images too after about 6 or so weeks ago.

A similar issues has started happening for me after the most recent Plex Server update (v0.9.15.6.714). Only recently added movies don’t show artwork or “Movie Summary” info for me. All content added before the last update shows up fine. Tried manually refreshing the titles, but still no artwork / movie covers. Strangely, this is only happening with my movies, TV shows seem to be unaffected in my case.

I am having the issue with movies as well, but I can usually get them to pull in their data after a few force refreshes and telling it to unmatch and manually match it again.

I removed the media that was having issues, cleaned up the library, then added them again, and now everything is back to normal. All new media I add now shows up as it should. Must have been just a temporary hiccup.

I had this problem. It came from adding 3 very large libraries at once when I migrated my PMS over. I was advised to “Optimize Database” and then refresh the libraries one at a time. This did the trick. I optimized after each one of the libraries were refreshed, and then I was good to go.

When all was said and done, there were a few files that got hung up on when they failed during the refresh, and those few I fixed the mismatch with, and metadata rolled in

Finally resolved with one of the server updates
