I have missing movies in my plex library. Everything was fine when I was manually downloading and adding the movies, but now I have tried to use it with radarr, the movies I am adding do not show in plex. I have done the renaming convention to “Movie Title (YEAR)” for the folder and movie file. I had set my permissions in linux to chmod 777 for everything just to test and it still doesnt work. I then moved the file out, scanned library, emptied trash, cleaned bundles, moved the file back in and it still doesnt read.
The two movies I was testing this with was Aladdin (2019) and A Walk to Remember (2002).
Give it another try carefully following the steps in The Plex Dance.
Although I haven’t used Radarr, if it just moves the video into place and that’s all, then your PMS would still need to do a Scan Library Files. It’s my understanding that automatic scanning is problematic, especially if you have Empty Trash after Scan checked. I turn off automatic scanning, and I turn off trash empty. I always do a manual scan.
I realize that’s not really optimal, and you’re trying to use Radarr to automate things.
