Now i cant seem to find my library and i cant seem to find/ view any of my library settings. its like i have been scraped from my own server/ setup. what is happening.??? this is Frustrating.
Are both the server and client still signed in with your account?
Can you see/access your server using a browser and the server‘s local ip address (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:32400/web if you’re on the same machine)?
Beyond that… what exactly do you mean by
Sorry for the long delay. im not sure… Id say yes? i mean i remote into my computer that hosts all my stuff… but i cant even access any of my media from anywhere … So I have PC and its my “server”. it randomly stopped working. so when I click on my server i get a " offline" / " unreachable" then I reinstall the server and it works but only for a day or two and then its unreachable again. its not the firewall. this is the link in the address bar. ill take a snapshot next time. http://127.0.0.1:32400/web/index.html#!/media/tv.plex.provider.vod?source=movies
Now im having even more issues. like my PLEX is breaking apart as we speak.. im so confused. like im signed in, i see my media but it then asks to sign in, again, but then i get this issue. THEN i get this AVG message recently. is it my Antivirus now? what the heck is going on?. lol Please help. this is Bizzare.See photos…
Sounds like there’s some kind of connection issue on that PC of yours. Could be the AVM messing things up or some wider issue / block that prevents the web app from authenticating by talking to plex.tv backend.
Your server logs might show some more details.
ok ill check that… ill have to do a bunch of tinkering this weekend. Do you Think I need Help from PLEX directly?..
However i did have a plan to completely replace my workstation PC for a newer model. I did this before LONG ago. I was able to figure out to remove the HDD and put it in the new one. then somehow able to find all the logs and PLEX info /appdata/ metadata and copied and pasted and then i was able to keep all my settings and more importantly, the dates I added the movies and shows.
SOOO. im wondering. If i do a fresh install on a new PC and do this again… Do you think all these issues would go away?
Usually this should be something on your end. So probably no.

That’s hard to tell, without knowing what’s actually causing this.
WOW you’re FAST!.. Thank you again! and thanks for the links. ![]()
In the last few minutes I have noticed that my PC is not updating to the latest Windows update, so im running a few scans in command prompt for some repair process via Microsoft forums. im going to figure this out i hope. If all else fails… ill let you know and if anything ill just get this newer PC and start over, in hopes to keep the metadata. … I put so much work into this you know? we all have. …
so I think I fixed it… I did this and like, everything works. its been a few days and things seem to be working. there was SOME corruption in windows and its fixed…
so far so good. Thanks for everything TOM!! if something happens ill be sure to revisit this threat if its still open.
