My Plex Media Server seems to become unavailable at random times. After running perfectly fine for a long time, my PMS was suddenly appearing as offline on all my devices except my main laptop. I tried many things to fix the problem, like updating to the latest version, disabling my VPN (Which Plex doesn’t go through anyway since I use split-tunneling), restarting the app, signing out and signing back in, making sure insecure connections were allowed, etc. Nothing seemed to work, so I walked away for a little while. When I came back later, everything was online again.
I hoped this was just a random bug, since everything worked perfectly well last night, but then this morning, the same thing has happened again. Everything appears offline except on my main laptop from where the server is run. The weirdest thing is that I log in directly through the Plex Media Server, but once I am on Plex and I go to authorized devices, it records the login as a Web app login even though I am accessing it through Plex Media Server itself. The last login on the server is from last night, back when everything worked. It records no login through the server, despite me actively using the server.
Anybody has any idea what is going on here?
