Plex Server No Longer Working

My plex server suddenly stopped working. I have changed nothing but it seems that since 7/1 when the new lifetime subscription price went active, everything went haywire. I can’t access my libraries on the machine where I’m actually running plex and the app on my Android phone shows as “offline mode” even though I have full connectivity. Reboot of the windows machine (the plex server) does nothing and clearing the cache of the app has done nothing.

This is beyond frustrating. Has anyone else faced this and have you found a resolution?

Any chance you recently changed your password and opted to sign out all connected devices?

Nope, no password change and no force logout.

Server logs are more useful than client logs.

And magically it’s back. I literally did nothing except post here and email the subscription team and voila, working. :man_shrugging:

It’s quite possible “they” (a Plex admin) reset your cert. Sadly, I think mine is in possibly the same bad state (as many others). I can get it to work for “a bit”, then it stops. (talking app.plex.tv). I mostly use it locally, apps seems ok for me right now, this is only doing web via plex.tv, which I hardly use. But right now, I say it’s broken for a lot of us. And this seems to be only fixable by a Plex admin.

Yeah, I’m unable to access any of my libraries remotely at teh moment. Never had this issue until a family member pointed it out
