Missing random episodes of shows after changing to new Plex TV Series Scanner

It could be coincidence but I wanna add that I’m also running CentOS (8-stream) and have a NAS next to it.

New test:

  • Created a new library.
  • Moved Season 08 of the show (the one that is not recognizing episode 08) and voila again same issue. Only 23 episodes recognized.
  • Format used: Grey’s Anatomy (2005) - S08E01 - [ WEBDL-1080p - x265 10 - AAC - SiGMA ].mkv
  • Change failing episode to: Grey’s.Anatomy.(2005).S08E08 and Plex recognized it.
    Don’t understand why Plex is not recognized the other format???

Now even weirder:

  • Grey’s.Anatomy.(2005).S08E08.WEBDL-1080p.x265.mkv → This is recognized
  • Grey’s.Anatomy.(2005).S08E08.WEBDL-1080p.x265.10.mkv → This is not recognized (episode disappears when I make this change)
    BUG?

I have to add more, this version has become a nightmare for me since I have rebuild the server. I have shows not detecting full seasons or episodes Evan though they are in the directories and no changes to the labeling has occurred. I have some I cannot get to match no matter what I try and the only option is to manually label the files and this will take weeks. I have some shows pulling other languages, some files labeled as only episode 1, episode 2, etc. HELP!

Latest update and what I have done to remedy the issue. As I started with an upgrade on my computer, new larger SSD and moving from Win 7 to Win 10 (I hope this was not a mistake), an upgraded graphics card going from 1 gig to 4 video ram for use to transcode video streaming. I have around 40 TB of files on my server. I had stoped Plex running on my computer and deleted the database files. After I restarted Plex running and started adding back my library files one at a time allowing each to scan before checking for mismatches. So far it is scanning and picking up a little better but far from perfect. It seems once the new system picks up on what it thinks it should be it often does not like to be changed. This feature seemed to work much better in previous versions. It is still going to take me days to sort out the mess.
