It seems the show “The Challenge: Champs vs. Stars” has been removed fomr the backend Plex database. This is causing episodes for that show to show as unmatched or to be incorrectly matched to another Challenge show. Even doing a manual fix match with the TVDB ID (337199) brings up the wrong show (using that leads to Champs vs Pros, TVDB ID 328615).
The issue is that someone has added a link on TheTVDB that points to “Champs vs. Pros” on IMDb.
That link needs to be removed.
This series is locked on TVDB and can’t be edited. Is there no way to fix this on the Plex side?
You will have to contact an admin on TVDB and ask for the edit to be made.
I’ll try but they never respond to anything. My last 6 or 7 tickets have been ignored.
However, the same bug happens in Plex when I try to manually match using the TMDB ID 75847, it only brings up Champs vs Pros. I checked its TMDB page and there is no IMDB link in the external IDs field.
It will also need to get cleaned up on the Plex backend side. Looks like Champs vs Pros & Champs vs Stars got merged.
