Not finding match for show that is in TVDB

A show has been in TVDB for about a week now but it is not matching. If I “fix match” it does not show by default, or if I search, the same if I “unmatch” then “match”.

Is there a way to force the agent to update its TVDB cache (or however it works, it is all presented as a magic black box with no clue as to how the data actually flows)?

For reference the show is “Michael Palin in Venezuela”, and Plex insists on matching it to “Michael Palin in Nigeria”.

Yes this has been a problem for me as well, and I can’t even enter the metadata manually because you can’t convince it NOT to link the episodes into the existing ‘In Nigeria’ show.

It’s very annoying.

This show is finally working.

Except there is no cast (not even Palin himself) for the show.

But does appear for each episode.

I made a test directory for this show and he’s showing up as the cast for the show. Refresh Metadata maybe?

Yeah hit Refresh, it’s populated for me now.
