I can add to this.

I was playing a file that dolby vision profile 8, eac 5.1, and srt subtitles.

Using the hdmi pass-through option here is what i am seeing,

With subtitles OFF, it will direct stream, but with regular hdr, not dobly vision

With subtitles ON, it will direct play instantly with dobly vision properly working.

In no instances, can i resume play or fast forward or rewind

Can anyone duplicate this?

Yep, basically same here, I can’t fully reproduce though, since I don’t do hdmi passthrough.
I’m sticking noch to this version: 8.26.0.29181

Since it works with Profile 7(workaround above), Profile 8 and Profile 5 Dolby Vision.

9.0.4 and still no profile 7 support…
