Modify Imdb.com Scraper Script To Imdb.it Scraper Script

Hi,



i’m a fresh italian plex user, i took a very quick look to this italian forum trying to understand which kind of problems there were inside.



Let me try to give you one advice only, and that’s releated to imdb.com information’s source.



We are very envious about the imdb.com source ) because using it plex becomes more and more awesome then ever.



I tryed to modify the imdb.com scraper-script located in Plex/Contents/Resouces/Plex/system/scrapers to use our imdb version e.g http://www.imdb.it without success (



I know, i’m not so smart in using xml and tags. (



FilmUp.it is poor, with low-definition icons, no funarts etc, that makes Plex not so good like the english one.



I guess it’d be a great solution for us if we could have a script like that in order to have an awesome step-up in term of look-and-feel.



I’ve tryed also to insert italian.imdb.com as a alternative source without success as well.



I will be available as a sort of beta-tester if someone of you gives me the script modified.

That would be wonderful! Even better if the domain could be automatically chosen from data scraped from the filename, for example if the file is named “[ITA] Ocean’s 11” it would display synopsis in italian and maybe even the original title.



Any idea where to begin?
