Hi,
i’m a fresh italian plex user, i took a very quick look to this italian forum trying to understand which kind of problems there were inside.
Let me try to give you one advice only, and that’s releated to imdb.com information’s source.
We are very envious about the imdb.com source :)) because using it plex becomes more and more awesome then ever.
I tryed to modify the imdb.com scraper-script located in Plex/Contents/Resouces/Plex/system/scrapers to use our imdb version e.g http://www.imdb.it without success :((
I know, i’m not so smart in using xml and tags. :((
FilmUp.it is poor, with low-definition icons, no funarts etc, that makes Plex not so good like the english one.
I guess it’d be a great solution for us if we could have a script like that in order to have an awesome step-up in term of look-and-feel.
Thank you for your incredible work… i’m impressed.
Regards
S.
One more thing, as Jobs would say :)
I'm available to test the script with you, for you, for all of us.
:)
Hi, i tryed something else.
Inside the setting section about imdb.com scraper-script there is an alternative source field.
I put there the following address: italian.imdb.com, imdb.it, http:/www.imdb.it... without success as well.
i guess i have to wait for your tips, eventually.....
Thank you for your patience.
Regards
Ciao :)
Hi! Sorry I’m not very good with creating scrapers also. We will be making some changes to our library system which will allow you to create scrapers that don’t look like big blobs of gibberish. You could try posting your question on the developer forums to see if anyone can help.
Thank you very much Isaac, that is very kind of you. The possibility of doing that inside Plex should be a great solution.
I've been trying to modify the imdb.com script to gather experiences on that.
:) Thank you again.
Regards.
