Strangely enough I have not found this mentioned anywhere else in the forums as a request.
What I am missing in the current iOS version is some support for gestures to control playback. Say for instance one finger swipe to jump forward or backward by 10 seconds or so. This would already make me quite happy but one could of course also go further and allow the user to freely assign certain actions to a gesture.
What to you think?

I think this could be a great “option” to toggle. Sometimes I wouldn’t want it on for the sake of accidentally swiping the screen, but as a toggle, it could be nice.
I was just scanning all of the thread titles to see if gestures had been mentioned. The TiVo ios app lets me swipe forward 30 seconds or back 10 secs. Extremely useful and something I miss greatly when watching something on Plex. The podcast app I use (Downcast) lets me define how many seconds a forward or backward swipe will skip.
I didn’t find a swipe in the Foto-Section. That’s kind of pure since this is a very basic feature in every photo app in iOS
