I have installed and reinstalled the latest version of PMS for Windows, but graphics, trailers and other metadata are not loading. I have unmatched, manually rematched using PlexMovie and The Movie Database. The agents find the match, I select the movie and PMS says it’s downloading the metadata, but the content never shows up. Have rebooted my server, and none of that has solved my problem.
Has @QuixoteIII or @trumpy81 found a solution yet?
I’m kinda in the same situation here, both movie agents (Plex Movie + TheMovieDB) are not fetching any metadata, no posters/description/trailers/extras etc. as if no agent was used.
this started on 22/23rd of December, and still same problem.

Plex Dance (© OttoKerner):
- Remove offending files from your Plex Media Folder.
- Update Library (Not ‘Refresh All’)
- Optimise Database
- Clean Bundles
- Empty Trash
- Replace offending files into Plex Media Folder.
- Update Library
Here is the attachment of the zip file after doing Plex Dance mentioned in the above steps.
The Movie is called A Bug’s Life (1998) and is located within this address in my local network:
\\ASH-PLEX\Plex1\Movies\A Bug's Life (1998)
(This is in my NAS storage device)
That is correct, i’m in GMT +3 time zone
EDIT: It was working fine few days ago up until 22nd/23rd December.
And I can’t blame the update, because when I updated plex to the latest version as of this post, it was still working perfectly for also few days.
I did check IMDB website and I can search through it.
And checked all firewalls, as for my NUC I don’t have a single firewall enabled as its exclusively used only as a server and nothing else to interrupt it.
However, I did flush out all internal IP’s on the router and shut off all systems, rebooted it and it works flawlessly!
I can’t pinpoint exactly why the problem occurred, as I did restart my system before, but it may be a conflict in IPs as this time I did remove all IPs in the router and allocated new ones before restarting but once “The Butler” came up on the server, it automatically did the job.
Gotta love that butler!
Whenever I see the butler hard at work, i feel I could be at ease >:D<
Thanks @trumpy81 ! Sometimes I do over-complicate things and yet the simpler solutions fix the problems!
