Would love for the Harry Potter soundtracks to be in order, just like the movies in the collection are, by release date. However, for music that appears in a movie collection, I don’t see any control over the sorting whatsoever. See attached screenshot for reference. Edit the collection. There is an advanced setting for how you want the collection sorted. The default is alphabetical, change it to Release Date.
Doesn’t work. I had already chosen Release Date, which is why the movies are in order. However, toggling that (and trying to turn it off and on again) is not putting the music albums/soundtracks to also be in Release Date order. In fact, they’re not even in Alphabetical order, nor in the order I added them into Plex… just some sort of random order.
Ok, I see the problem. Collection info between different media types is independent of each other. You are editing the info for the Movie collection. There isn’t a way to edit the Music collection. I’ll file this with the team.
