I have one movie file (MP4) of I Was a Male War Bride that, for whatever reason, is no longer showing up in my Plex library. I’ve tried moving it into it’s own folder, I’ve tried adding the IMDB tag…it’s just not getting picked up when I scan.
Is this due to me switching to the new “matching” service the other day?
NEVER MIND: literally after posting, I was looking over my library and saw that it had been automatically labelled as “Cary Grant Film Collection.” UGH.
prevent Plex from using embedded metadata:
Edit your movie library
go to the ‘Advanced’ tab
clear the check mark out of “Prefer local metadata”
Afterwards, Refresh Metadata of the affected items.
