First, a suggestion
Over time, we learned that using the default Synology-provided Video share is always a pain in the backside.
We end up making shared folders of our liking and moving our media there.
Once there, DSM (itself) doesn’t keep interfering with Plex.
To correct the import problem I think you’re seeing ( It sees the folder but not the contents??) .
