New to Synology NAS, cant find my media

I have used Plex now for several years, happy with it. But in the past I had issues of which I think were caused by my Network-storage-device,…a Western Digital MyCloud. So I decided to buy a Synology Nas DS918+.

I have transferred all my movies and music to the Synology and installed Plex Media Server on it. I have created a new Plex-account. But when I open the Plex Web I can’t see the movies and music. I can see the directory where I have transferred the movie/music to, but it doesn’t show the files.

In the past I had installed the Plex Media Server on my Nvidia Shield TV Pro. Whenever I open that Plex-account (via webbrowser) then I CAN see all the movies/music which are on the Synology Nas.

So what did I do wrong? Why are my movies/music not showing when I open my Plex Media Server on the Synology Nas?

Hope someone can help me.

Plex is very restricted on Synology. (Default ACLs do not permit PlexMediaServer access)
