Not directly Plex related but I figure somebody here will know. I had a nice 900 or so movie Plex server going for years with redundant storage. Then I lost an enclosure of 2 drives and fumble fingered the recovery and poof, no more movies. Of course, I have the discs, but I would only like to re-rip the ones I do not have digitally. Does anybody have a script to check for purchased movies against Apple TV, MoviesAnywhere and Fandango? I have a Mac, Windows and various virtual Linux systems so it can really be most any script type. I just do not want to start from scratch. Prefer PowerShell so I can read it.
Thanks, I do not really need to get the movie list back, I have the discs so I just need to plow through and rip them. My idea was to skip ripping movies (or at least postpone until the end) movies that I have on Apple TV, MoviesAnywhere or Fandango.
What I would really love is if Plex would scan for me, give me one central place for all the movies I ‘have’, either ripped or online.

Number 1 is critical in my opinion. I would try to avoid that, simply out of caution.
Number 2 will probably be prevented by the respective owners of the services. They don’t take kindly to competing companies accessing their systems, without a prior agreement (and perhaps payment). So lengthy negotiations cannot be avoided.
Developer time would have to be spend on each different streaming service server. And the code continually adapted as these services develop.
All in all, that is unfortunately not viable for a small company like Plex.
