Movie Release Date Not Correct with new Plex Movie Scanner

Server Version#: 4.43.4

I recently switched my movie scanner from the Plex Movie (Legacy) to the new Plex Movie scanner and refreshed the metadata for all my movies to use this new scanner. There may be more cases, but I noticed “Along Came Polly” which has a release date of January 16, 2004 on TMDB/IMDB is incorrectly matching with a release date of 10/15/2003. I tried fixing the match, however, it still displays with the wrong release date. Is there a known issue? Can you please fix the Plex Movie scanner to use the correct movie release date.

Thanks Adriana! Along Came Polly is now correct, however, I’m having this same issue with the following other movies:

1. Wallace & Gromit: A Grand Day Out - matches to 1994 using Plex Movie, but TMDB displays as 1990

2. Dolphin Reef - matches to 2020 using Plex Movie, but TMDB displays as 2018

I’ve found the cause for these date mismatches, they will also get fixed in the next few days.

Release dates have been fixed across the board and you should be seeing the right dates after a metadata refresh
