No. Logs roll over when they hit a certain size regardless, where the oldest is deleted.
@BigWheel I am on QNAP and have exactly the same issue - same firmware versions involved.
I started another thread and @dane22 could not find any issue in my logs.

yep @rossinior , he added your info/logs to the bug report I made. hopefully the devs will be able to see the issue that me and him cannot.
Just for you to knowā¦ it can happen in ANY of my libraries, no matter if TV show or movieā¦ if adding objects to the library. most of the time, stopping the scan in that library manually is enough to be able to successfully scan again.
But sooner or later, it happens again and again and againā¦ (for me: each day multiple times)
This happens to me as well after i installed the latest version. Scanning hangs hours and nothing happens until i manually stop it and start again. Plex server running in Docker in Debian 11.

If you have trouble reproducing the issue, just add movies one at a time until it hangs.
Problem has not retired in latest version
Any word if this is still happening on 1.25.5.5492?
It is.
5409 is the latest without the issue.
If anyone has not please provide your server logs after it happens. preferably right after it happens if you notice it.

Being a glutton for punishment i normally run the beta channel. There have been 2 updates since this problem, and it has not reoccured

What beta version are you on? Are you saying upgrading to the latest beta resolves this?
Latest version in beta is working fine for me. No more hang ups
