Movie stops at 30 minutes

Hello there,

 

Maybe someone reconizes this problem, the thing is when i'm using the plexconnect app on the Apple tv3 it works wonderfully .. 

series and all play just fine but when i'm watching movies it just stops at around 30 minutes in and start buffering heavily. When 

i stop the movie and restart it, it's fine till 30 minutes later. The weird thing about this is, the iOs app plays the movie all the way 

through. But the Xbox one app shows similar results, as in stop playing after 30 minutes. Any idea how i can fix this ? And i 

would love to post some logs, but since i'm rather new here i'm not sure wether it's needed for this problem.

 

I've searched through the forum, found similar topics about a problem which resembles mine but the fixes did not work for me 

sadly .. I hope you guys can help me out here! If you need something like a log, do tell me!

whats your PMS doing when it buffers?  is it at 100% CPU?

Not at all, running around 5-10%. Just find it weird that it's doing on the Xbox one and the apple tv but not on the iPhone or iPad version..

If it is doing it on two separate clients then i would look to raise this in the PMS forum, as it is likely that is where the issue lies.

It would help to know the media info and whether the PMS logs show it being direct streamed, direct played or transcoded for each of those three clients as well.

I have same issue and this was only happens in plexconnect. It doesn’t happen on XBOXone and iOS mobile devices.

I use MBPro retina.

Maybe you and I have same thing and this could be the cause.
