Movie titles not filenames / Posters

When I built my latest PMS, I must have selected an option to override Plex’s movie title with what is displayed.

All movie filenames are correct. movietitle_year.xxx etc…

It displays the movie name properly in the menus. But when I select to play the movie and it’s loading, the plex player displays the OLD NOT CORRECT filename. like: movietitle_2160k_dts_whatever_more_garbage.mkv

Any idea how I can fix that first “problem”? It’s like it pulled OLD meta from the file and it is overriding all other info.

Not really possible with MKV files.

Should be

MovieTitle (Year).xxx

Again, this is not the standard naming for movies.

Did you “reuse” any previous data? Such as the old metadata folder or your old plex database?

Please provide the XML file for one of them.
