I download TV series, documentaries and movies via torrents. I then store them on an external hard drive connected to my iMac, which is where my Plex server resides.
Most of these items play fine on my TV through my Apple TV box, but from time to time, I get a number that just end up with the black screen and the “circle of death”. I check that they work OK on the server, and even try to download a different version, but nothing seems to help.
I am not a tech person, but is there any tweaking I should be doing on my Apple box or on the server itself?
