Movie won't match with "Plex Agent" but can't change movie agent

I have a movie (Ken Burns Thomas Jefferson) that won’t match. The Auto Match dropdown lists as my only option “Plex Movie”. I wanted to try a different agent (The Movie DB is highly recommended) so I went into Library management and selected that one…Plex told me I needed a library upgrade, so I said yes. It grinds through my library and…nothing changes.

What are my options here?

edit: This show is from 1997 so database latency is not the issue)

With the Plex Movie agent, you can’t change the agent in the dropdown, but you can explicitly search for tvdb/tmdb IDs, e.g. tmdb-1457898 for the Thomas Jefferson documentary. That said, as you mentioned it’s generally considered a TV miniseries, so it probably belongs in a TV library opposed to a movie library. While TMDB does have a movie entry for it (Thomas Jefferson — The Movie Database (TMDB)), there’s very little metadata and is probably at risk of being removed because it already has a proper entry as a TV show (Thomas Jefferson (TV Series 1997-1997) — The Movie Database (TMDB)).

You say it’s a show, then it won’t match in a movie library. Shows need to be in a TV Show library.

I had no idea it was a TV mini series…as it was only one long-ish file I thought it was a movie. Thanks
