TLDR: can’t change my libraries’ agent from '“Plex movie” to “the movie database”
I recently moved away from hosting my movies on my computer locally to a NAS solution (Ugren DXP4800 plus). It worked well the first week or so, then for some reasons, whenever I would add a movie to the library, there wouldn’t be any automatic matching (to find the movie’s info).
After digging a bit, I understood I needed to move away from the “Plex movie” agent, to choose instead “the movie database”. Doing that in the library’s settings apparently requires me to “'upgrade” my library. Which is what I do, but every time I go back into my library’s settings, it switches back to the “plex Movie” agent.
I spent hours troublshooting that. I went as far as nuking my entire plus metadata for a fresh new install to only realize the problem remains.
