Hello. when I add a movie to the watched folder it is no longer “scanned” and added. I tried 2 movies to test it. I did reinstall the MacOS - reinstall so all the apps etc didn’t change. but, I though I would mention this just in case it helps. I have attached the log.

Have you enabled “Scan my library automatically” under Settings → Library?
yes it was already on. I tried a manual scan as well.
Your logs indicate that the path is not currently available:
Marking media not available in /Volumes/Mac mini Storage/iTunes/iTunes Media/Movies
This is weird. I can browse the drive and I have added the 2 new movies through Finder. but, when I go to play any movie, besides these 2 that don’t show in Plex, it says
Playback Error
Please check that the file exists and the necessary drive is mounted.

fixed it. there was a dummy mount point that was a folder with the same name as my volume, so the real volume added a “1” after the name. I went to /volumes and deleted the folder and rebooted. real volume came back with no “1” after it. must have happened when my external drive was acting up
