Online Media Sources in the settings has all enabled

i can see the library on the server, but doesn’t have any content on the LG app

i have uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the TV and my Mac (media server)
i have no content restrictions set-up for any age.

help

Doesn’t appear your TV is supported, but in case you are…:

Where are you in the world?

Movies and TV from Plex has nothing to do with your server so that’s not relevant.

What LG model do you have? For the WebOS, is that the actual OS or the firmware? Those are not the same.

That TV should work. Can you provide a screenshot? I don’t think I’ve actually seen that error.

I’m having the same issue. I’m on WebOS 3, but the Movies & TV function was recently added to it:

I assumed the feature was just not yet “turned on” even though it it now shown. :man_shrugging:

as you can see. news works
but Movies & TV On Plex and WebShoes doesnt work.

on my Mac however
it does display content, just not on the TV.

Are you signed into the app? Web Shows and Movies don’t work if you’re not signed in.

Yes of course the App won’t run on the TV unless you are signed in

I wonder if the connection between your account and the TV got messed up somehow. Try signing out and back in.

i Have.
i have completely uninstalled the app on the TV. restarted TV.
reinstalled app. signed in.

uninstalled media server for mac. Restarted mac. Installed Plex again.
Added my Library

nada . . .

I mean right now. Try signing out and sign back in. Do not do anything else.

I had our backend team check your account and there isn’t an LG TV device listed, so whatever you are doing, it’s not correctly linking the TV to your account. That could explain why it’s not working. Do you see the TV listed under your authorized devices?

The app gets authorized when you sign in. When you chose to sign into the app, there should have been a 4-character code shown on the screen along with the Plex link website https://www.plex.tv/link/. You visit that page, sign in if needed, and enter the code shown on the TV. You did that right?

correct. i did that twice.

FWIW, I’m seeing same “No content available” screen. Also, TV does not appear in list of authorized devices. It plays media from Plex server w/o issue. I signed out of / signed in to the LG Plex app a couple of times last night. It made no difference, still see the “No content available” screen. Located in Dallas, TX.
