MOVIES & TV option showed up yesterday when I loaded plex server. Pinned it to the left options list and browsed the available movies several times. Even tried to open on and it worked. This morning it is gone, nothing there, looked all over the setup and options area and it as if it never existed. Wow…
You probably used the ‘hosted’ web app yesterday, but used the ‘local’ one today.
It is only available in the hosted one at this time, because the local web app is too old.

Your right, got the offering as an email or something yesterday and didn’t realize it was opening in a different window. I notice that it ties the MOVIES & TV into my local server listing of local movies and tv shows on my local hard disk, does this mean others have access to my local files beings it is opening inside my local server from an external link? If so not good!
It inserts the new media source into your side bar. The side bar can hold libraries from several different servers. (and can be customized)

It absolutely doesn’t mean that anyone has access to your stuff (except those users with whom you shared your server explicitly).

Well apparently it’s showing on some of my apps, phone and web application but nothing on the my Mac client. Can you explain why there is a disparity? Why is it showing in some areas and not others?? I also want to mention that Plex Pass Subscribers should have support options other than forum since we PAID for the subscriptions!
