When switching from PC to Shield TV can I transfer the database on the pc to the shield or do I have to build a new database?
I searched everywhere and most answers I found were outdated, as I found out about a Shield update that allows PMS metadata to be dumped in an external storage device. So I’d like to know if this also allows me to dump my PC’s PMS metadata into the same external folder, to be identified by NSTV’s PMS (effectively transfering my server from PC to NSTV).

I don’t understand why these questions go ignored. There are a lot of people looking for the ability to move their PC based PMS backup to a Shield. I’d like to move my server from a PC to my Shield; however, I want it to appear as the same server with the same watch history, users, etc. Can I or can’t I?
