Moving my server from an Old 2009 mac mini to a newer 2011 mini ( I know, not so new but what I can afford. )Will hook up the external drives hold ing the media exactly, via usb, as the old set up.
My question is ( I’m not brilliant with computers so I need a lot of help) how do I take the DVD’s and Br’s I record on the old mini and transfer them to the new mini for Plex viewing. I will still be using the old mini to process these disks. I know it will be over the lan but how do I set this up? I assume I have to also renotify my children to have them link up again via their clients?
What else am I missing that I will need to do?
