This is not happening with all mp3 files, but some of them will show with the wrong track name, or artist, or album, or a combination of 2-3 of these issues. I’ve done the plex dance on the files, rewritten the ID3 tags, but no change. I can override them obviously, but that seems silly if the tag information is right. Has anyone else dealt with this and how was it resolved?
There are really only two possibilities - either Plex isn’t fully configured to use your embedded tags, or the tags are wrong.
Can you provide screenshots of the embedded tags for one of the files that’s exhibiting this problem?
