Hi folks, can anyone recommend an MP3 metadata tag editor where I can bulk edit changing the album artist to the same as the artist name?

I use mp3tag for things like this.
It can derive tags from other tags or from parts of the file name (and the other way around).

I second this app. It’s a fantastic simple app that can do all kinds of things. You use the Tag -> Tag button to apply the contents of one tag to the contents of another. There is also a Tag -> Filename and Filename -> Tag button, to allow for easy file naming or metadata filling respectively.
It does not pull in any third party metadata as far as I can tell. If I want those, I apply it using MusicBrainz, then load the files into MP3Tag to clean up and remove the tags I don’t care for.
Superb thanks for the recommendations Otto and Divideby0 I’ll give it a go. I’ve got a couple of mp3 tag editors here but they are a little limited so this sounds just what I’ve been looking for.
