Would you mind elaborating what you mean (e.g. what are you trying to achieve, how are you currently doing this and what’s the unexpected/missing outcome)?
I am running Plex on a Windows 11 computer that acts as my home server. I can access the media on the TVs in the house using the Plex app on Roku. I put some new MP4 videos on the server and Plex shows them as new photos and plays them fine from the new photos list. However when I try to access them in Plex from the directory they are actually in Plex won’t play them. So once they drop off the New Photos list I will not be able to play them. Clearly Plex can decode them. I have never had this issue with other MP4s. These MP4s are ones made by a 3rd party service that transferred old 8mm films to MP4s.
Is this specific to the Roku app or do you experience the same across more Plex apps?
Good question. I don’t run it on anything but the Roku devices. So I loaded Plex on my laptop and I have the same issue there that I have on the Rokus.
