Hi,

 

I'm just wondering if anyone has suggested the need to allow people to say who is watching a show or movie at the start in a multi user plex environment.

 

In my house we all have plex accounts and it doesnt really work properly as only one person can be logged in when watching a show so only one account gets the watched flag set. It would be better if there was the option to allow people to select which local plex users are present when a show starts. Perhaps something that can be turned on an off encase people are not bothered by the tracking part of the server.

 

Also it would be good if each plex users could have there own trakt config... this is also limited to single user.

 

Just a few ideas hopefully they are new ones.

Someone brought up a similar idea in the initial blog post about user "presence"... Elan didn't say much, but he did acknowledge it:
