Hi, I am trying to setup my DVR functionality… adding two devices: an HDHomeRun PRIME (CableCard) and CONNECT (OTA).
Is it possible to configure different program guides for each device? My primary device is the PRIME, but it doesn’t detect all the OTA channels from the CONNECT.
Currently we do not support multiple DVR’s, which means the same program guide for all tuners.
We do plan on supporting these in an upcoming release, but for now, I suggest using the Cable Program Gudie and manually mapping the OTA channels to the ones that match for Cable.
I do realize you might be missing some channels, and this is unfortunate for right now.
Right now, when I don’t map a channel in the program guide to a detected channel, plex disables that channel. Is there a way to not map a program guide channel to a detected channel and still have the channel available for use?
Unfortunately, there isn’t.
We do support XMLTV, so you could use a service like Schedules Direct to build a channel listing with both sets in it, and then import that and it should work, but it’s a hassle and we’re aware of it and multiple DVR’s is something we’re actively working on, just couldn’t get everything in v1.

Where can I find documentation on how to integrate XMLTV data in Plex? I want to replace the defective Gracenote guide data with a guide that is complete for my area.
