Do we know if this is actually being worked on, or if Plex is just “aware of the problem”?

It is a server issue and there is a lot of server work going on. Hopefully, they can look at this soon.

I haven’t been able to play specials for months I really hope they do fix this. It’s kind of ridiculous that its been a glaring issue for a long time now.

Any updates on this? This is super annoying. I made this Plex server to watch my media when away from home and I can’t watch any of my specials. When I’m at home I have to locate the file and use VLC to play it. Can’t do that when I’m not home. Pretty unacceptable.

New piece of info: I have this error playing from a web browser (tested Chrome and Edge). But playing from the Android client app worked correctly.
