Multiple Plex Accounts Problem

I have changed jobs and my Plex Pass account is associated with my old work email address. I have tried to change the email address to a Gmail address I have, but there is already a non Plex Pass account associated with the Gmail email address. I must have accidentally signed that up at some point in the past.

I did once try to delete the Plex account associated with the Gmail account, but somehow the Plex Pass account ended up being deleted and had to be recovered by Plex admin.

How can I safely delete the account associated with the Gmail account, so I can then use my Gmail address on my Plex Pass account?
