Hey,
I got 2 versions of Ready Player One on my server, one 1080p and the other 4K. I was wondering if it was possible to make it put both of those into one. So instead of me having to do this, have it look like this instead?

If both files are matched with the same metadata agent, they will not show up twice in Continue Playing.
There is also this, but it will require to explicitly select the lower resolution version when starting playback (‘Play Version’). Otherwise clients may often use the 4K version for trancoding to ‘mobile’ resolutions.

Does anyone know if there is a way to put different versions (one mkv one mp4) of a movie into one folder, have them appear as one item in the interface and then let me select which version to play when I play the movie back when I am playing back using the nvidia shield?
This is even the default in Plex.
Movie Title (year).mp4
Movie Title (year).mkv
Will result in one poster with a little 2 in the top-left corner.
You then use ‘Play Version’ to select which file to play.
I am told in Android TV this is under the ‘More’ button
