I am no longer able to record via my 2 and possibly 3rd tuner on my Plex DVR. The interesting thing is that the Plex software thinks it is recording and will “lock” the tuner on the plex side until the server is rebooted. The second tuner is not being locked on the HDHR side. My setup is 3 HDHR primes. The first 2 have cable cards and the 3rd receives unencrypted channels from the cable connection. The log on the HDHR shows no connections or errors and however as I stated before the Plex server thinks it is recording. I have deleted and re-added the Tuner/DVR and it did not make a difference. Again the only way I can clear plex from recording even after the recording time is complete is to reboot the device. I imagine I could probably stop and restart the software. I have updated my firmware on my HDHRs thinking that might be the problem and the software on my Plex is up to date. Does anyone have similar issues and or fixes to this problem.

I did but didn’t find this particular issue.
I have attached 2 sets of logs. One is during the recording and the other is just after it “completes.”
Johns’s post in one of my discussions helped me to move back to version 1.6.1… which has temporarily solved this problem.

I will try that, I didn’t want to revert unless it had worked for folks.
I just tried to record on both my tuners and one failed miserably. I have 3 on one and 2 on the other an the tuner with one 2 tuners failed.
Mine was trying to transcode the recordings at the time of recording. I forced that off and it worked. Even though it said off in the tuner page I saved the configuration again.
I will see if that works. I don’t have a 1.6.x version at the moment.
