I recently was given a DVD set with the 3 Godfather movies called “The Godfather - The Coppola Restoration”. I do not find this set on TheTVCD.com so I’m unclear how I can add the movies to my server.
Do I just create directories and store the movies as normal hoping that one day the database catches up?
Do I possibly store them in the same directories with the older version and then somehow choose them in the Plex Player?
All help appreciated.

Versions usually refer to the type of file
You may have The Godfather in 1080p and a 4k version
These items are merged in the library
Editions refer to a different cut of the movie
The Godfather vs The Godfather “Director’s Cut”
These items are shown separately in the library as a standalone movie separate from the standard theatrical cut
You can use versions but you need a Plex Pass for to use editions
