It’s really cool to see all the movie streaming app addons within plex.
It would be even more cool to see music addons in the same fashion, Qobuz, Apple HD, Dezer, Amazon Music, iHeart Radio or whatever.
Have it be all controlled by a phone app or another copy of plex as the remote. I know currently Tidal doesn’t work being controlled in this fashion which sucks.
I messed around with a HiFi Rose RS150 at friends and all I could think plex could do everything the HiFi Rose could do if licensing and programing allows, but even better with your own custom PC, TV ect.
It could very well become one of the best all around audiophile streamer applications period.
It all ready has end game local playback now if you add music apps to accompany it…
I have Amazon for the family who uses it on there smart speakers, out at the pool ect.

Only audiophiles with care but…
For me personally I find Tidal sometimes has a album in 24bit sometimes only Qobuz has the 24bit vs versa.
I also found with my stereo some albums on Tidal feels a bit rounded off where Qobuz feels more articulate but tidal some times sounds better than Qobuz.
I don’t use Tidal in Plex because I can’t control it with the remote. I have completely separate streamer for apps. “I wish everything was in one platform but it’s not” Hence the reason for the request.
Then, not everyone is going to run with tidal from a preferences standpoint, price, sound, ect.
