I suppose this structure might be confusing as it’ll include some of the folders in a redundant way. Try to move the music videos folder 1 level above so it’s not getting mixed up with the folder linked to your music library.
Step 2: Double check you have theLocal music video path setting pointed to the music video folder (Settings > [Server Name] > Agents -> Artists, click the gear icon next to the Local Media Assets (Artists) line)
Alternatively you can store the videos inline with the tracks of an individual album
So do you recommend to not have folder for every artist but instead define the artist in the name of the file? Like [Artist] - [Description]-[type].ext ?
The step 2 i have done and double checked. It’s aimed for Videos folder.
I exactly don’t want this alternative because would mean i need to link concert (where are many songs) to one specific song in the album and that’s really weird workaround.
That’s not my point… I was only referring at moving the “videos” folder outside your music top-level folder to avoid Plex from scanning it twice (1x as part of your regular music library, representing an “artist” named “videos” and 1x as the music clips folder).
