I’m running Plex 9.4.0 on a Shield with version 1.27.1.5916 on a Synology.
When I’m playing music, the song title stays on the first track, even when the title changes.
This seems to have been a problem back in November 2017 as well according to posts on the forums.
I hope someone can confirm that it’s happening to them too and that the developers can fix it easily, but it’s not the end of the world. Thanks, Everyone.

Thank you for reporting this, the more who do the stronger likelihood that it would get fixed rapidly. I think it warrants a hotfix. It is not the end of the world, but would for many be the end of Plex as local music player on Android TV if it prolongs.
I am also getting the same running the latest Synology plex server updates and version of Plex on Shield. Started roughly 3 weeks ago. Since titles and album art advance on any other Plex enabled device, I’m thinking it’s a bug with the Shield/Android TV version of Plex and not on the synology server side. If Plex for Shield Devs would get this one fixed, I know a number of us would greatly appreciate it!
I’m also heavily annoyed by this.
Plex for Android ver. 9.4.1 has the fix for this.
