The latest update launched a couple of days ago for the NVIDIA Shield/Android Tv seems to have introduced a really annoying bug (it is by testing clearly not present in the webplayer, Plex for WebOs and Plex Android phone).
Plex has stopped updating the cover image, song information and album information when having several songs in a playlist (e.g. an entire album, randomized playlists etc.) and the song changes. It is stuck on displaying the info of the first song in playlist the entire time. The only way to make it update to the currently played song is to move out of the music interface and e.g. back to the home screen, then the cover image etc changes to the “now playing” one.
There are obviously a lot of other issues to address in the music module of Plex (many of them are pointed out and discussed in this forum). But at least please fix this one quickly and release a hotfix as it renders the music module unusable.
Would be very useful if others could kindly confirm (or disconfirm) the issue and post work arounds (if any).
