Thanks for chiming in everyone. Makes me feel a little less crazy. Same again today, only right channel, no sub. The only thing that changed in the last week for me was a Windows update a few days ago, but I don’t think it could be a Windows thing. It’s still sending music from my PLEX Media Server on Windows 10 PC, just not in 2.1 sound. Earlier it was said it’s the Amazon API that is responsible for this working, so it must be what is now responsible for it not working. All my other music services still work with stereo pairs and Echo sub. I hope someone is reading these posts that can help us out(!). I’ll keep checking back.
Hey, y’all - IT’S B-A-C-K !!! YES !!! At 6 pm on 7/23/2020 asked for PLEX to play some music, sound immediately began firing out of the Echo stereo pair and Echo sub. SO AWESOME!!! Thanks to somebody at PLEX who monitors these posts and takes action with Amazon or whatever it took, whatever the problem was - YOU are so appreciated! PLEX just announced Live TV today, and I was checking that out. Very cool. Thought I would see if there was any chance PLEX was back in stereo with sub yet - YES !!! Thank you!!! LOVE IT !!!
I finally tested it last night and it was working again for me too. I’m curious to know why this happened, but I’m guessing we will never know.

Glad it’s working for everyone! Just checking in 10 days after it came back. Listening to library radio for a couple of hours today and happy to report it was very, very stable with no issues at all. Rock on PLEX!
